Thank god someone who wouldn’t take no for an answer found him. The boy needs kindness right now

and there are so many people who are ready to be kind to him, only he never showed how much he needed it before, and now he can't hide it

Thank god Missouri was there.

I'm also still sad that Dean refuses to let even Bobby know he's there :( so he still spends this time alone :( The prospect of his future at the moment must be so scary.

I mean his first time telling someone the truth backfired hard so I hope that didn't leave a mark. Either way from here on it doesn't look like there's much room to keep the lie so

there isn't much room to keep up the lie, no. even now, he isn't ready to let people in but may not have a choice

Thank goodness Missouri wouldn’t take no for an answer, and I hope he finds solace in the fact Mary once used the house as refuge

the ghost of Mary comes up again. yeah, Dean absolutely finds a sense of solace with the fact that he shares this with his Mom. he wants to share things with her, and while he's not well and pretty preoccupied today, it's something that resonates deep in him

echoing everyone else, thank goodness for missouri! if it were up to dean he'd say no to everyone trying to help him so as to not feel like a burden. cannot stop thinking about mary, though. i wrote a little bit about it my liveblog post today but just, this place being a refuge for her then and for dean now, and dean having her presence there with him in this new home after the trauma of losing his childhood home and cutting ties with john, it must be a comfort.

obviously my reply makes it clear but I love the Mary thing, and it is absolutely a comfort for this boy who has been searching for his mamma for as long as she's been gone, but hasn't known he can go to anyone for comfort about it
